Good for Pasta, Pizza, Bolognese, Lasagne, etc
Tin Chopped Tomatoes
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Pesto
1 tbsp Tomato Purée
Pinch Rosemary
1 tsp Sugar
1 Carrot (peeled & chopped)
Salt & Pepper
Place all ingredients into a blender. Add to a saucepan and reduce for 30-40mins until the sauce has thickened.
You can add chillies / tabasco to spice up sauce, or try different herbs – basil, oregano, coriander. A splash of Worcester sauce adds flavour too. Just experiment!
Fry off some vegetables to add to the sauce to make it go further – onions, courgette, pepper, anything you fancy!
