A family favourite for our records!
Serves 4
120g Plain Flour
Pinch of Salt
120ml Water
120ml Milk
4 eggs
1tbsp Malt Vinegar
125g Vegetable Oil
6-8 Sausages
Sift flour and salt into a bowl.
Combine the water and milk.
Add the eggs and half of the water/milk mix to the flour and whisk until smooth.
Add the rest of the water/milk and vinegar and whisk to combine. Leave to stand for 30mins.
Preheat oven to 200C / 440F / Gas Mark 6.
Place oil in ovenproof dish and cook sausages for 5mins until sealed.
Pour the batter over the sausages and return to the oven for 30-40mins or until the batter is browning all over. Do not open the oven door during cooking.
