On the odd occasion we have tuna for dinner, although we make sure it’s pole caught. The recipe below is a delicious comforting dinner, easy to make and very yummy.
Serves 2
Oil
2 Tuna Steaks
New Potatoes
1 White Onion
2 Cloves Garlic
200ml Double Cream
200g Peas
Spinach
Salt & Pepper
Lemon
Boil the potatoes until turning soft.
Meanwhile fry onions and garlic in oil until soft, gradually stir in cream off the heat, return to the heat and add peas and spinach and simmer for 5mins. Season before serving.
Fry tuna in oil, lemon and salt and pepper for 8mins, turning halfway through.
Crush or Mash the potatoes and serve, place tuna on top then pour over cream and vegetable mix.
Ta Da! Yummy tuna dinner!
